Westminster Women's Lacrosse Set to Face #2 UCCS in RMAC Semifinal Thursday

SALT LAKE CITY — The Westminster University women's lacrosse team will take the field in the 2026 RMAC Women's Lacrosse Championship semifinals on Thursday, April 23, facing #2 UCCS at 7 p.m. MT in Denver, Colo., at Regis University, which is hosting the tournament as the regular-season co-champion and highest seed.

The third-seeded Griffins enter the tournament at 9-5 overall and 7-3 in RMAC play, earning one of four tournament berths. The program's first winning season since becoming an official NCAA Division II participant in 2019, the Griffins have accomplished the milestone in head coach Ashley Tack's first season at the helm. Westminster split the regular-season series with UCCS, winning at home and falling on the road. The bracket features #1 Regis taking on #4 Colorado Mesa in the first semifinal at 4 p.m. MT, with the winners of both matches advancing to the championship on Saturday, April 25 at 4 p.m.
