The first half of the game witnessed a competitive exchange, with both teams netting a total of 10 goals. Despite the close margin, the Westminster Men's Lacrosse team managed to establish a solid lead of 7-3 by halftime.

The second half unfolded as a relentless onslaught of goals from both sides. The Thunderwolves made an early statement with a quick goal just 20 seconds into the third quarter. However, Westminster swiftly responded, with Daxton Jenson, McMahon, and Skyler Weathers spearheading a flurry of three consecutive goals in three minutes.
