Alamosa, CO – In their final game of the regular season, the Westminster Griffins Men's Lacrosse team delivered a commanding performance, securing a resounding 22-6 victory over Adams State. With this win, the Griffins concluded the season on a high note, boasting an impressive record of 11-2 and a six-game winning streak.

Leading the charge for Westminster was Merritt McMahon, who showcased his scoring prowess with an outstanding five-goal performance. Joseph Celentano and Daxton Jensen also made significant contributions, each adding three goals to the team's tally.

After heading into halftime with a 5-2 lead, the Griffins unleashed an offensive surge in the second half, scoring an impressive 17 goals to seal the victory.

The win proved crucial for the Griffins as it helped them tie for the top spot in the conference standings with Colorado Mesa. Despite splitting the season series with the Mavericks, Colorado Mesa secured the tiebreaker, earning the right to host the RMAC tournament next weekend.
