Goleta, CA - Ashley Lam led the Westminster Griffins Women's Golf team with an impressive second-place finish at the Westmont Invitational, parring 16 of the 18 holes on day two to close with a score of +9. Lam's strong performance helped the Griffins secure a tie for second place in the team standings after the two-day event.

Denise Larson Director of Golf and Head Coach. "I'm very proud of Ashley and Kyra for their top 5 finishes and the team for holding on to second. I think more high finishes are in store next week in Colorado!"
Kyra Sponenburgh also had a notable tournament, finishing tied for fourth at +14, including two birdies on day one.
Reimi Bleyl added three birdies on her first day, securing a tie for 11th place, while
Madalyn Hadley recorded a birdie each day to finish tied for 20th.
Isabel Wade rounded out the Griffins' lineup in 28th place.
