SALT LAKE CITY — Westminster University women's golfer Ashley Lam has been selected to compete in the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf West Regional, the NCAA Division II Women's Golf Committee announced Sunday. Lam was named the first individual selection in the West Regional field.
The West Regional will be held May 4–6 at Pueblo Country Club in Pueblo, Colorado, hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo. The field consists of 18 teams and 6 individuals. Competing as an individual, Lam can advance to the national championships by finishing as one of the top two individuals whose team does not qualify for nationals. The national championships are set for May 12–16 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Lam enters the regional ranked 26th nationally and 7th in the West Region among NCAA Division II women's golfers, carrying a scoring average of 73.3. The second-year Griffin has recorded 4 wins, 4 top-3 finishes, and 10 top-10 finishes this season. Lam is also coming off back-to-back RMAC individual championships, having claimed the conference title in both 2025 and 2026.
