SALT LAKE CITY — Westminster University's Ashley Lam has been named the 2025-26 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women's Golf Academic Player of the Year, the conference announced Wednesday. Lam also earned First Team Academic All-RMAC honors, as selected by RMAC athletics communications directors.

The sophomore from Taylorsville, Utah carries a 3.95 GPA while majoring in undeclared studies. On the course, Lam capped a standout 2025-26 season by earning back-to-back RMAC Women's Golfer of the Year honors, recording four individual titles including back-to-back RMAC individual championships, and earning an individual berth to the 2026 NCAA Division II Women's Golf Championship. Lam finished the season ranked 29th nationally and 8th in the region.

In addition to Lam's Academic Player of the Year honor, four additional Griffins were named to the 2025-26 RMAC Women's Golf Academic Honor Roll: Reimi Bleyl (Jr., Sports Management), Madalyn Hadley (So., Engineering), Kindra Hirasuna (Jr., Management), and Camilla Shin (So., Marketing).
