Durango, CO - The Westminster Griffins Women's Golf Team wrapped up a two-day event at the Nick Turner Invitational, in fourth place on the team leaderboard. Ashley Lam was the low Griffin with rounds of 78-77, to secure a sixth-place finish.  Reimi Bleyl posted the low tournament round of 75 today, combined with her day one 81, to finish in 7th place.  Kyra Sponenburgh followed in 15th, with Jailee Snow tying for 16th, Isabel Wade tying for 20th, Kindra Hirasuna placing 26th, and Madalyn Hadley finishing 27th. 

This tournament is the final event of the fall season and Coach Denise Larson said, "The fall season has provided an opportunity for us to immerse 4 freshman in college golf, see returners embrace leadership roles, and has showed us both our potential and the areas we need to work on this off season. We'll be primed and ready come spring and I'm proud of this team."
