Alamosa, CO - The Westminster Griffins women's soccer team delivered an impressive performance in their conference match against the Grizzlies of Adams State, securing a convincing 3-0 victory after a scoreless first half of action.

The game remained tightly contested during the initial 45 minutes, with both teams showing resilience in defense. However, the Griffins were about to unleash their offensive prowess in the second half.

In the 59th minute, Necie Gubler played a pivotal role as she set up Brooke Streeter for the opening goal of the game, giving the Griffins a 1-0 lead. The momentum continued to swing in Westminster's favor as Sophia DiGeronimo found the back of the net, marking her first goal of the year and extending the Griffins' lead.

Necie Gubler wasn't done contributing to the scoreboard, as she herself scored a goal in the 75th minute, sealing the win for the Griffins with a comfortable 3-0 advantage.

The Griffins showcased a well-rounded performance on both ends of the field, and their goalkeeper, Mashaun Estridge, played a vital role in maintaining a clean sheet. In the latter stages of the game, Brighton Jakeman stepped into the goalkeeping role to preserve the shutout.
