GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Merritt McMahon had four goals on five shots to help lift the Griffins past #3 seed
Colorado State University Pueblo in the RMAC Semi-Finals tournament as the Griffins advance to the championship with an 18-6 victory at Colorado Mesa.
Max Duxbury and
Skyler Weathers were two of the seniors who added two goals each for the Griffins in the win.
Jacob Miller who started in goal saw his night end early after halftime as he had some key saves in goal with five in his time in goal and allowed two goals to sneak past him.
Now the Griffins will gear up for their third matchup of the year with the Mavericks of Colorado Mesa who hosts this year's tournament on Friday at 7:30 p.m. at Community Hospital Unity Field.
