Skyler Weathers scores three goals as the Griffins saw an early 3-0 lead goal vanish as the
University of Mount Olive send the Griffins back to Salt Lake City, Utah with a 8-6 loss.
The Griffins started out with a bang scoring three straight goals to open up the game. Weathers,
Spencer Whinery and
Dylan Brauer helped Westminster lead 3-2 after the first period of the game.
Weathers scored the lone goal in the 2nd and
Kade Oswin the 3rd as the Grffins trailed 6-4 heading inot their final period of action in North Carolina.
Weathers scored the final goal for the Griffins as it wss a defensive battle in the 8-6 loss. Today's game wrapped up the two game road trip for Westminster as they will resume RMAC play a week from today when they return to Dumke Field as they will take on Adams State University as they will play a home and home series for their next two games.
