Pueblo, CO -- The Westminster Griffins held the ThunderWolves of CSU-Pueblo.to one goal in the second quarter as they were able to secure the win during their final road game of the 2022 season 20-13 as

Joseph Celentano &
Spencer Whinery add four goals each to help Westminster win their third straight win.
Westminster started things off quickly, scoring the first two goals of the game as
Dylan Brauer (scored twice) and Celentano strike first for the Griffins gave the Griffins the two goal advantage, but soon after that the ThunderWolves found a way to score back-to-back-back goals on their own to gain their first lead of the game just four minutes into the start of the game, but the as the first quarter of play continued as the teams went back and forth it was the ThunderWolves with the 6-5 lead.
The second half began with the ThunderWolves and Griffins each scoring 4 goals in the third, but CSU-Pueblo got as close at 3 in the fourth as that was as close as they would get as the Griffins out scored the ThunderWolves 5-2 in the 4th.
Merrit McMahon added three goals as his teammates
Easton Albert,
Carson Capps and Zennon Laforce all had a goal in the victory.
Gavin Beilman, stood tall in the net as he had 16 saves as he played the full 60 minutes of action as he was able to capture the win as the goal keeper.
