Salt Lake City, UT -- Every time the Westminster Griffins and Colorado Mesa Mavericks hit the field together, it becomes a classic. On Senior Day 2022, it was just that as the the Griffins hold off the Mavericks 13-10 as they even up the season series at 1-1 with both teams winning on their home-field. Westminster needed to defeat the Mavericks by three goals or more to become the Co-RMAC champs and host the RMAC Tournament next week, after scoring 12 goals in 45 minutes of action, it was
Jacob Miller who made the biggest play of the game with under two minutes to play, Westminster leads by three and he stood tall in the cage to help secure the victory for Westminster.
Andoni Odencrantz scored the lone goal in the final three minutes which gave him three on the day, after the Mavericks scored five straight goals to give the Griffins their three goal lead back late in the game.

The semifinals will be at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday. No. 1 Westminster will play No. 4 Adams State in the opening semifinal matchup. No. 2 Colorado Mesa will play No. 3 CSU Pueblo in the late game on Friday both games will be played at JUDGE MEMORIAL CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL in Salt Lake City, UT north of Westminster College.
Saturday's championship game will be played on Westminster's campus on Dumke Field with game time scheduled for 6:00 P.M. (MDT.)
