Salt Lake City, UT - Snow has begun to hit the Salt Lake Valley as Fall sports are starting to come a close, Winter sports have arrived at Westminster College as this weekend the Westminster Griffins Women's Basketball team is set to begin their 2022-23 season with two home games this weekend on Friday and Saturday night inside Behnken Field House as University of Arkansas Fort Smith will head to Utah. 

The Griffins have played three exhibition games this year two were in a state with the Utes and Cougars and their final game was in Idaho as they fell 42-62 on Monday night. 

"Our pre-season is tough! There is no way around that. I believe as a coach, that's how you want it to be to get your group best prepared for the season ahead," said Jackson. "Our pre-season is full of Top 25 D2 programs, 2 top 25 D1 programs, and a very successful D1 in Idaho State University. We look forward to the challenge ahead and love that it will adequately prepare us for our highly competitive RMAC conference play."
