Golden, CO - The Westminster Women's Soccer team finished up their second straight road game this week with a trip to Golden Colorado, but it was the home team of Colorado School of Mines who was able to see see the lone goal of the game hit the back of the net as the Griffins fall 1-0 and see their second straight conference defeat in the standings.
It was a quick goal by the Orediggers in the opening minute of the game as Colorado School of Mines found the back of the net during the first minute of play to take the early goal lead, but it was scoreless for the next 89 minutes.
Alexa Maple was the lone Griffin to get shots near the goal in the game today, but her three shots came close to scoring for Westminster.
Kelsea Cracroft played the full 90 minutes and had five big saves to keep the game a one goal game as they took on a top 15 team in the nation for Women's Soccer.
UP NEXT: Friday night the Griffins return to Dumke Field for a matchup with Western Colorado with kickoff at 7:00 P.M. under the lights on the field it will be a great game for everyone to come watch, but if you can't attend watch us on the RMAC Network.
