DENVER - Taylor Miller scored a career-high 15 points and Westminster men's basketball (8-9, 6-5 RMAC) was within one possession with less than five minutes to play but No. 12 Regis (14-1, 9-0 RMAC) knocked down a trio of three-point attempts over the last 3:31 and won, 68-60, on Friday night at the Regis Field House.

Yusuf Mohamed finished with 12 points on 5-of-10 shooting from the floor.Â
Reme Torbert turned in 10 points to along with four steals on the defensive end for the Griffins' back court and
Matt Kitzman went 2-of-4 from three and led Westminster with seven rebounds.
The loss snapped a three-game Westminster winning streak while the 12th-ranked Rangers have now won 14 straight after dropping their season-opener. Westminster suffered from a season-low 44 percent (8-of-18) shooting as a team at the free throw line while the Rangers knocked down 12-of-18.
The Griffins went 5-of-11 from three in the opening half to outpace the Rangers, but connected on just 7-of-16 from long range in the second half.

Matt Kitzman split a pair of free throws with 4:41 to play. After a pair of made Rangers' free throws, Regis connected on back-to-back three's to push its lead to eight.Â
The Griffins were unable to answer on the offensive end in consecutive trips and Regis went on to take a 13-point lead on a Troy Brady three with just 57 ticks left on the clock.
Westminster will be back in action tomorrow night as they take on Colorado School of Mines from Golden, Colo., beginning at 7 p.m.
