Biography
2020-21 - Sophomore
- Played in 19 games with four starts in his first season at Westminster.
- Averaged 6.1 ppg, 2.6 rpg, and 1.7 apg to go along with 22 steals on the defensive end.
- Reached double digits scoring in four of the last six games of the season inlcuding a season-high 12 points against Adams State and 11 points the next night in an overtime win over CSU Pueblo.
Before Westminster
- Miller had a long journey prior to committing to Westminster in July of 2020. The Nevada native initially signed with Southern Utah in Nov. of 2015 before being added to the BYU roster after an LDS mission to North Carolina.
- Ultimately attended Snow College for his freshman year in 2019-20 where he as an Academic All-American. Averaged 7.6 ppg 2.4 assists/game and 2.6 rpg.
- Played AAU ball for Las Vegas Prospects and was first team all-state from USA Today and NevadaPreps.com as a senior at Palo Verde High School.
- Named on Las Vegas Sun's Super Seven after leading the state in scoring at 27.0 ppg as a senior to go along with 3.8 rpg, 3.1 assists/game, and 3.3 steals/game.
Personal
- Born October 1, 1997.
- He is the son of Nathan and Maribeth Miller. The oldest of five, he has four siblings; Jalyne, Ashlyn, Kylin and Andrew.
- Miller is a third generation college basketball player as his dad played for coach Norm Parrish at SLCC after a stinit with Weber State and his grandfather played college basketball at BYU.
- Taylor also played baseball, soccer and volleyball growing up and enjoys boating and spending time with friends in his free time.
- His little brother is a TikTok star, known for dunking on people in his videos.
