SALT LAKE CITY—Men's basketball hosts Fort Lewis and Western Colorado in the final games of the RMAC regular season. The Griffins are looking to earn their first ever RMAC Championship appearance.

Twelve games have been decided by two possessions or less this year. Only three games have been decided by 10 or more point—a 20-point win over South Dakota Mines (Feb. 6), a 13-point loss to #1 Colorado School of Mines (Feb. 19) and a 13-point win over Regis (Feb. 20).
Tournament Hopefuls
The top-eight teams, based on RPI, qualify for this season's RMAC Championship. The Griffins are currently 10
th with a RPI of 11.00, just behind South Dakota Mines (11.12) and University of Colorado-Colorado Springs (11.14).
Westminster
The Griffins are the fourth ranked defense in the RMAC, allowing 68.9 points per game.
Joey Andrews leads the team and ranks sixth in the conference averaging 6.9 rebounds per game.
Andrews also leads the team with 12.9 points per game shooting 56.8% from the field.
Reme Torbert and
Isaiah Banks are in double-figures with 10.3 and 01.1 points per game, respectively.
Matt Kitzman and Banks share the lead in assists with 2.4 per game.
Game 1 Fort Lewis | Feb. 26, 5:30 pm
Fort Lewis won the earlier meeting this season and took a one game advantage, 8-7, in the series with Westminster. The Griffins are 6-1 at home against the Skyhawks.
Riley Farris is key to the Skyhawks success. He leads the Skyhawks with 21.9 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.6 blocks per game. Farris is the conference leader in scoring, second in rebounding and also leads in blocked shots.
Brenden Boatwright and Will Wittman are averaging 10.5 and 10.3 points per game, respectively. Boatwright is secondo the team in rebounding with 3.1 per game.
Game 2 Western Colorado | Feb. 27, 7:30 pm
The series between the Mountaineers and Griffins dates back to 2002. The Griffins lead 13-3 in the series and are 8-0 at home. Westminster enjoyed a nine-game win streak from 2002-2017 and won four in a row after its first loss. Western won the last two games (67-74, 74-78).
Western is the fourth ranked offense in the RMAC, averaging 77.9 points per game. Matthew Ragsdale is Western's leading scorer and fifth in the conference with 20.3 points per game. Avery Rembau averages 13.8, Cole Sienknecht averages 13.5 and Ehrlin Jackson averages 10.2 points per game.
