Game Breakdown
First Half
Westminster's regular season finale in Chadron, Nebraska got off to a rocky start Saturday afternoon, as the Eagles came out firing on all cylinders. Chadron State shot a blistering 58.06% from the field in the opening half, including 11-of-18 (61.11%) from three-point range, building a 50-30 lead heading into the break. The Griffins struggled offensively, connecting on just 14-of-39 shots (35.90%) and going 1-of-15 from beyond the arc while being outscored 50-30. Westminster trailed by as many as 21 in the first half but showed some fight late, closing on a 3-of-6 shooting run to cut the deficit to 20 at the half.
Second Half
The Griffins came out of the locker room as a completely different team. Westminster shot 50.00% from the field and 43.75% from three in the second half, outscoring Chadron State 56-36 over the final 20 minutes of regulation. The Griffins clawed all the way back, tying the game at 86-86 on a free throw by Nick Holland with 18 seconds left in regulation to force overtime. The comeback was fueled by aggressive free throw shooting, as Westminster went 17-of-22 (77.27%) from the line in the second half. The game was tied five times and saw four lead changes, making for a dramatic finish to the regular season.
Overtime
Chadron State proved too much in the extra period, outscoring Westminster 21-9 in the overtime frame to secure the 107-95 victory. The Eagles went 11-of-12 from the free throw line in OT, largely sealing the outcome at the charity stripe while Westminster shot just 2-of-15 (13.33%) from the field in the period.
Griffin Performances
Nick Holland led all Westminster scorers with 20 points off the bench, going 7-of-15 from the field and adding 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals. Cole Kadoguchi and Michael Fraizer each tallied 18 points to round out a trio of double-digit performances among the starters. Kadoguchi shot 7-of-15 overall, including 4-of-11 from three, and added 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Frazier went 6-of-17 from the field with 5-of-6 free throws made, pulling down 7 rebounds and recording a steal and a block.
Cameron Cohn chipped in 12 points off the bench on 2-of-7 shooting. Colin Hayes added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Jonah El-Farra was a force on the glass, hauling in a game-high 13 rebounds to go with 8 points and a block. Westminster's bench combined for 40 points on the night.
For Chadron State, Isaiah Randolph paced the Eagles with 25 points on 6-of-10 shooting and 13-of-17 from the line. Zach Smith added 24 points, going 5-of-10 from three, and Jadon Cool finished with 19 points and 8 rebounds.

Westminster closes the book on the 2025-26 regular season with a final record of 12-16 overall and 7-13 in RMAC play. The Griffins will not advance to the postseason.
