SALT LAKE CITY - Westminster volleyball (5-19, 3-11 RMAC) will make its final weekend road trip of 2021 this weekend as it travels to play 11th-ranked Colorado School of Mines (19-3, 12-2 RMAC) on Friday at 7 p.m., followed by a Saturday match at Chadron State (4-17, 2-12 RMAC) beginning at 4 p.m.

- Westminster split its two home matches last weekend with a five-set win over Fort Lewis on Friday night which preceded a four-set loss to Western Colorado on Saturday.

Bri Mortensen reached 1,000 career assists and finished with 48 in the Griffins' 3-2 win over Fort Lewis. Mortensen is ninth in the RMAC with 6.86 assists/set.

Lydia Parkinson (Miller) had a .371 attack percentage as she added 14 kills offensively while libero
Alanna Lee finished with a team-leading 24 digs on Friday night.
- A true freshman, Lee is seventh in the RMAC with 4.0 digs/set and has 372 digs already this season, the most digs by a Westminster libero since Megan Gallegos finished with 414 back in 2015.

Katie Jacox is fourth in the RMAC with 33 service aces on the season and has contributed in multiple areas with 1.53 kills/set, 2.83 assists/set, 2.60 digs/set, and 36 blocks on the season.

Avery Alger is the team's leader with 49 blocks on the season including 10 solo blocks in the middle of the net for Westminster.
About the Orediggers:
- Taylor Hicken and
Drew Stokes were voted RMAC Offensive Player of the Week and RMAC Setter of the Week, respectively, after helping the #12 Colorado School of Mines Volleyball team to a 2-0 weekend at home last week.
- The pair of Hicken and Stokes swept the weekly awards for the third time this season after Hicken had 18 kills at a .630 clip and Stokes dished out 72 assists in two three-set wins.
- The Orediggers moved up one spot to No. 11 in the AVCA DII National Top-25 rankings this week and are two matches back of top-ranked MSU Denver which remains unbeaten in conference play to begin the week.
- Hicken leads the conference in hitting percentage at .444 while teammates Amanda Donais (.389) and Julia Eiken (.360) sit in second and tied for third, respectively.
- Stokes leads the RMAC with 11.71 assists/set and libero Elle Duis is second in the league with 4.45 digs/set.
About the Eagles:
- Chadron State has dropped six straight matches and 10 of its last 11 as it sits in last place in the RMAC volleyball standings with just two conference wins on the year.
- The Eagles have won just a single set on its six-match losing skid and have yet to win a road match all season. Chadron State is 2-5 at home in the Chicoine Center and gets set to host Colorado Mesa on Friday night before taking on Westminster on Saturday.
- Amber Harvey leads the Eagles with 2.53 kills/set with Olivia Moten-Schell a close second at 2.19 kills/set. Audrey Bennett (4.69 a/s) and Breshawna Kelly (4.17 a/s) combine to set the Eagels' attack while Devyn Volz has added another 2.77 assists/set.
- Rylee Greiman is 13th in the RMAC with 3.57 digs/set and Aiyana Fujiyama is 11th in the conference with 66 blocks.
