With the help of pressure in the penalty area from

Westminster held Mines scoreless through the first 31 minutes of the second half of Emi Higgins came through for the Orediggers off of a long throw-in from Landry Corbett. Corbett's throw took a big bounce inside the Griffins' penalty area and Higgins was there to put away the equalizer.
Westminster finished with a 3-2 advantage in shot attempts through the two overtime periods but both teams held up defensively and the two sides finished the match even at 1-1.
The Griffins will hope to get back into the win column from the road as they travel to Western Colorado and Fort Lewis College next Friday and Sunday, respectively.
