PROVO, Utah—Griffins set seven top-10 times and marks in the seasons first indoor meet at the BYU Indoor Invite.
Tony Nickerson, Hannah Rohrer-Fitzhugh and Emily Malouf each set a program record.
Men's Results
The men's indoor team recorded three top-10 times and marks against Division I programs Weber State, BYU, Southern Utah and Utah Valley.
Aiden Urban and
Tony Nickerson reached the podium in the 800 meters and mile respectively. Urban finished second in the 800 meters setting the program's second fastest time of 1:53.62. Nickerson finished third in the mile and set a program record with a time of 4:24.10.
Brock Lloyd made his debut for the Griffins in the 60-meter hurdles. He finished seventh with a time of 8.94 that ranks sixth in program history and
Women's Results
The women's team recorded one podium finish and four top-10 times and marks against Division I programs BYU, Southern Utah, Weber State and Utah Valley.
Emily Malouf throw for a Westminster record in the discus and a top-10 distance in the shot put in her debut meet as a Griffin. Malouf finished 13
th in the discus with her record setting throw of 31.08 meters. She shot put throw of 11.24m is fourth best in program history.
Hannah Rorher-Fitzhugh ran for a record in the 3,000 meters with a time of 1:52.15. She holds four of Westminster's top-10 times.
Katie Brotherson reached the podium in the pentathlon. She set the programs second highest point tally with 3,117 points.
