SALT LAKE CITY – No. 21 Westminster women's basketball will face Adams State on Friday, Jan. 31, and Fort Lewis on Saturday, Feb. 1 in a pair of road contests.
The Griffins (16-3, 11-2 RMAC) are coming off a weekend split, beating first-place Colorado Mesa and losing by one point to third-place Western Colorado. Westminster is still in second place in the RMAC, one game behind Colorado Mesa.
Mariah Martin leads the Griffins in scoring and assists at 16.6 points and 4 assist per game.
Hunter Krebs is pitching in 15.7 points, and
Sarah McGinley is adding 14 point and 6.7 rebounds per game while shooting 48 percent from beyond the 3-point arc. Kaitlyn Tolouno's 8 rebounds per game leads the team.
Adams State (3-16, 3-10 RMAC) beat Regis in its last game to end a six-game losing streak. Zakiya Beckles' 10.7 points per game leads the Grizzlies.
Fort Lewis (13-5, 9-4 RMAC) has won its last two and is in fourth place in conference play, two game behind Westminster. The Skyhawks are led in scoring by Jordan Carter at 11.1 points per game.
