SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster men's basketball will return home this weekend to host its first conference home matchups, facing off against Black Hills State on Friday, Dec. 6, and South Dakota Mines on Saturday, Dec. 7.
The Griffins (5-2, 0-1 RMAC) are coming off their second loss of the season, a 74-63 defeat at the hands of Dixie State to open RMAC play.
Brandon Warr leads four Griffins averaging double figures, as Warr is putting up 18.4 points and 10.1 rebounds per game.
Jai Jai Ely is adding 13.7 points per game and
Alec Monson is contributing 12 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game.
Black Hills State (3-3, 1-0 RMAC) started conference play with a victory over South Dakota Mines. The Yellow Jackets three losses have been by one, two and three points. Joel Scott and Trey Whitley are each averaging 16.8 points to lead the team, and Tyler Oliver is adding 15.8 points and 9 rebounds per game.
South Dakota Mines (3-4, 0-1 RMAC) comes in having lost its four games by a total of 12 points, including two one-point losses. The Hardrockers are led in scoring by Allec Williams with 12 points per game and Mitchell Sueker with 11 points per game.
Both games are scheduled to tip off at 7:30 pm and will be streamed live on the
RMAC Network.
