SALT LAKE CITY – No. 17 Westminster women's basketball (8-1, 3-0 RMAC) looks to continue its strong start to the season and conference play this weekend, as the Griffins will take on Colorado State-Pueblo on Friday, Dec. 13, and at New Mexico Highlands on Saturday, Dec. 14.
Westminster is perfect in conference play and is coming off a pair of victories in its first two home games of the season.
Mariah Martin leads the Griffins in scoring at 17.0 points and 4.6 assists per game. Martin is second in the conference in both categories.
Hunter Krebs is adding 14.9 points per game, and
Sarah McGinley is putting up 13.7 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. Kailtin Toluono is contributing 10.1 points and 7.7 rebounds per contest.
CSU Pueblo (2-5, 1-1 RMAC) is coming off a loss at Fort Lewis and has dropped three of its last four. JaNaiya Davis leads the Wolfpack with 16.1 points per game.
New Mexico Highlands (1-6, 0-2 RMAC) dropped its first conference games of the season last weekend. The Cowgirls' lone victory came against Northern New Mexico College on Nov. 18. New Mexico Highlands' Jordyn Lewis is leading the RMAC in scoring at 21.0 point per game.
Both games are scheduled to tip of at 5:30 p.m. and will be streamed live on the
RMAC Network.
