ALAMOSA, Colo. - Westminster women's volleyball completed its two-match road trip with a loss at Adams State in straight sets.
The Griffins (3-11, 0-6 RMAC) are still winless in conference play, while the Grizzlies (5-10, 2-4 RMAC) won their second straight.
Westminster's best chance came in the second set, when the Griffins led 10-4 and held a slim lead throughout the set. With Westminster holding a 23-21 lead, Adams State scored four straight to win the set.
Audrey Green led the Griffins with 11 kills.
Aggie Roese-Olsen had eight assists and
Hannah Stearman recorded 15 digs.
Westminster continues conference play at Dixie State on Tuesday, October 8, followed by a pair of home matches against Colorado School of Mines and UCCS. All three matches will be broadcast on the
RMAC Network.
