Westminster men's soccer (10-4-2, 8-2-2 RMAC) concludes its regular season this weekend at home against Dixie State on Friday, November 1, and against MSU Denver on Sunday, November 3. Both games will be streamed on the
RMAC Network.
Scouting the Griffins
The Griffins split a pair of road games last weekend, beating Adams State 2-0 and falling to CSU Pueblo 1-0. Westminster has won four of its last five and sits in second place in the conference.
Danny Darelli leads the Griffins and the RMAC with nine goals, and Max Bingham has scored eight.
Scouting the Opposition
Dixie State (8-7-1, 7-5-0 RMAC) won its last two games and is currently in sixth place in the RMAC. Moises Medina leads the Trailblazers with eight goals.
MSU Denver (7-7-1, 5-5-1 RMAC) won its last two and three of its last four games, currently occupying the eighth spot in the conference standings. Jerry Gutierrez and Benjamin Brill each have four goals to lead the Roadrunners. Â
Westminster Men's Soccer at a Glance
The 2019 season is the 36th season of competition for the Westminster men's soccer program. The Griffins went 14-4-1 last season and 10-3-1 in conference play, their fourth season competing in the RMAC and against an NCAA Division II schedule. Westminster made its first appearance in the RMAC Tournament in 2018.
