Westminster plays Western State and Colorado Mesa in the final home games of the season

FINAL HOME GAMES
The Westminster men's basketball team will play its final home games of the season on Friday and Saturday.  The Griffins will face off against Western State and Colorado Mesa.  Both games are scheduled to tip-off at 7:30 p.m. MST.
 
Both games will be broadcast on the RMAC Network, and Mike Lageschulte will be calling the action.  Live stats will also be available to follow during the game.  Links for the broadcast and live stats can be found at WestminsterGriffins.com/live.
 
Tickets are available to purchase online at WestminsterGriffins.com/tickets.  Tickets can also be purchased on the day of the game at the door.
 
ABOUT THE GRIFFINS
The Griffins split games last weekend, defeating MSU Denver and falling to UCCS. They are second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) standings, 12-3 in the conference and 16-3 overall.  Westminster boasts an 11-2 home record.
 
The Griffins average 75.2 points per game, 10th in the RMAC.  They are second in the conference shooting 48.5 percent from the field, 40.3 percent for threes, and 78.4 percent from the free throw line. 
 
Dayon Goodman averages 27.2 points per game and has scored 516 points in 19 games.  He leads the conference and is third in the nation in both categories.  Goodman ranks second in the conference shooting 87.5 percent from the line.  He is 54.6 percent from the field to rank third in the conference and 46.0 percent from beyond the arc, ranking fifth in the RMAC.
 
Westminster are the top team defensively in the RMAC, only allowing 65.6 points per game.  They average 35.7 rebounds per game and are first in rebound margin, out rebounding their opponents by 5.9.  The Griffins average 15.6 assists per game, score 12.5 points off of turnovers, make 4.4 steals and 3.3 blocked shots.
 
Goodman leads the team with 157 rebounds, 25 steals and 20 blocked shots.  Quincy Bair has pulled down 101 rebounds and blocked 16 shots.   Sam Orchard is ninth in the conference with 64 assists, averaging 3.37 per game.
