COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.--The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference announced the all-academic teams and awards.  Thirteen Griffins, seven from the men and six from the women, were named to the honor roll.

Derrick Williams from CSU-Pueblo and Megan Wenham from Colorado School of Mines' Megan Wenham were named the 2018 Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) Cross Country Academic Runners of the Year.
 
The award winners, along with other First Team All-Academic members, were voted on by the conference's sports information directors. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have been an active student at the institution for at least two consecutive semesters or three consecutive quarters and carry a cumulative 3.30 grade point average (GPA).
 
All student-athletes that met those requirements but were not selected for First Team automatically qualified for Honor Roll.

Senior Eric Mellmer made the honor roll for a third year.  Seniors Olivia Causse, Mara Kushner and Junior Ryan Murphy made the honor roll for a second year.

Making the list for the first time are nine sophomores--Joshua Mickelson, Tony Nickerson, DJ Matthews, Trevor Neal and Aiden Urban made the list for the men and Hannah Painter, Katie Scott, Christine Sheehan and Madison Vilhauer made it for the first time for the women.
