Cross-Country Heads to The RMAC Championship

The Westminster Griffins Cross-Country men's and women's team are turning their attention the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Championship this weekend on Saturday, Nov. 3. For the women's team they are coming off a fourth-place finish at 2018 Utah Open and as for the men's team they last competed at the Steve T. Reeder Memorial where they finished fourth.

"I have learned throughout this season is consist training pays off and that the team has to be committed to each other in order for them to achieve their goals," said head coach Dan Quinn.  "The women's team came in better prepared this year and we have had some great packing in meets as it has took the men's team a little more time to get there our gap time has improved dramatically."

Men will report to the start line at 9:30 a.m. and the race will begin shortly after that as for the women's team they will report to the start line at 10:30 a.m.

Coach Quin did say that he will tell his runners before the meet that he wants them to "believe in their training and believe in yourself, and go out and have fun and leave nothing in the race."
