OREM, Utah — Westminster opened its 2026 cross country season Friday at the UVU Cross Country Invitational, hosted at Scera Park.

Race Breakdown

Men's 3 Mile
The Griffin men finished 7th at the meet. Joaquin Stultz served as Westminster's front runner, crossing in 34th overall with a time of 15:37.56. Coen Whitney wasn't far behind in 41st (15:59.07), followed by Elliot Vargas in 44th (16:27.88) and Diego Escalante in 45th (17:05.28). James Stock, Mason Wulff, and Mik Levy rounded out the scoring group, closing in 47th, 48th, and 49th, respectively.

Women's 3 Mile
The Griffin women finished 8th at the meet. Kaja Wilcox led Westminster across the line in 40th overall (19:06.04), with Eileen O'Connor (44th, 19:25.89) and Sonya Brunner (45th, 19:27.89) close behind. Haven Finley, Angela Martin Rubin, and Rowen McLaughlin completed the scoring lineup in 49th, 50th, and 52nd.
