SALT LAKE CITY – The No. 4 Westminster women's basketball team completed a perfect weekend at the Westminster Tipoff Classic with a 64-33 win over College of Idaho in the Behnken Field House on Saturday morning.

Westminster (2-0) scored the first 13 points of the game and never trailed in their 27th-straight home victory. They went 7-of-20 from three in the first half and led 33-11 at the break. The Griffins held College of Idaho (0-4) to 15.8 percent shooting in the opening 20 minutes.

The Griffins finished the game shooting 41.1 percent and they were 12-of-30 from beyond the arc. They held a 41-33 edge on the boards and scored 14 points from 14 offensive rebounds. C of I committed 19 turnovers which the Griffins turned into 16 points.

Tia Pappas led all scorers 18 points and seven rebounds. The senior made four triples while getting seven rebounds, six assists and four steals.
Amy Krommenhoek added 16 points and four steals in 29 minutes.
Alli Winters made three treys for nine points.

Kellie Ross led the Yotes with 13 points and Ashleigh Blalock scored six points.

Westminster will return to action on Nov. 14 when they host Concordia (Calif.) during the Westminster Fall Classic.
