Before Westminster: Krommenhoek joined the Griffins after a redshirt season at the University of Utah. She is from American Fork, Utah where she was a three-year all-state player at American Fork High School, including first-team honors as a senior. During her senior year, Krommenhoek averaged over 12 points per game with 47 three-pointers and was named all-region and all-Utah Valley in helping lead American Fork to the 2009 5A State Championship. She also averaged 11.5 points and made 43 3-point baskets for the Cavemen as a junior.
