CALDWELL, Idaho – The No. 4 Westminster women's basketball team completed a sweep of two games at the Lady Yote Classic with a 58-39 win over Eastern Oregon University on Saturday afternoon at the J.A. Albertson Activities Center.

Westminster (8-0) dominated at the defensive end as they held Eastern Oregon to just 26.1 percent shooting and forced them into 18 turnovers. The Griffins only shot 33.9 percent from the floor, but they went 13-of-27 (48.1 percent) from beyond the arc after making eight of their 10 attempts in the second half.

Alli Winters finished one shy of the school record with seven made threes to give her a career-high 21 points. She was 7-of-11 from beyond the arc and added three assists and two rebounds.
Amy Krommenhoek added 16 points with five assists and two steals.
Jamaica Christensen led a 14-poiunt effort from the bench with eight points in nine minutes.

Eastern Oregon (6-3) was led by Madeline Laan with nine points and 12 rebounds. They had a 38-37 rebounding edge and grabbed 12 offensive rebounds.

The Griffins will return to action on Dec. 6 when they travel to Logan, Utah for an exhibition contest against Utah State at 2 p.m. MT.
