SALT LAKE CITY – The 14th-ranked Westminster College women's lacrosse team plays at home for the final two times of the season this week. Westminster begins with a game on Wednesday at 5 p.m. against No. 5 Brigham Young. They then welcome top-ranked Colorado State to town on Friday at 6 p.m. on Senior Day.
The Griffins enter the week at 7-2 on the season and 1-0 in Rocky Mountain Women's Lacrosse League play. They have won four straight overall and are undefeated in two games played at Dumke Field this season. Westminster has outscored the opposition 75-53 during the four-game winning streak and has gone 2-0 in games decided by two goals or less.
Historically, the Griffins have struggled against the two foes on this week's schedule. Westminster is 0-4 all-time against BYU and they are 0-3 against Colorado State.
