SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College women's volleyball team is home for two matches this week in the Behnken Field House. Westminster plays Dickinson State (N.D.) on Thursday at 7 p.m. and then plays Carroll (Mont.) on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Griffin Notebook
Westminster enters the week at 10-6 overall this season and are 3-2 in the Frontier Conference. They split two matches at home last week, dropping a 3-1 decision to Great Falls (Mont.) on Friday and then sweeping Montana State-Northern on Saturday.
The Griffins continue to receive votes in the NAIA Top 25 Coaches' Poll that was released on Tuesday. Westminster was listed among the other teams receiving votes with eight points. They have now received votes in each of the previous four polls. Westminster also sits at No. 28 in the current edition of the Massey Ratings.
Ashley Marchant currently leads the team with 158 kills while hitting .235. She has recorded double figures in kills seven times this season and in each of the previous three matches. The senior has also picked up 150 digs and 22 service aces with five double-doubles.
Alexis Aalona is second on the team with 115 kills and is followed closely by
Katie Vance with 95 kills. Freshman
Rachel Enloe leads the team with her .240 hitting efficiency behind 39 kills on 100 swings.
Emily Atkinson runs the offense with 534 assists and also has a team-best 24 service aces.
Kyndall Kordakis leads the defense with 253 digs and ranks third in the Frontier at 4.29 digs per set. Marchant's 150 digs rank second on the team and Atkinson is third with 142.
Stephanie Jones Morin has posted a team-high 44 blocks with Vance adding 27 to rank second.
Inside the Series
Thursday will bring the first-ever meeting between Westminster and Dickinson State. This is the first year in the Frontier Conference for DSU and this will be the only meeting of the season between the two schools. The Griffins are only 7-14 all-time against Carroll and are in the midst of a seven-match losing streak against the Saints.
