WHITEFISH, Mont. – The 15th-ranked Westminster College women's basketball team was represented with four players named to the All-Frontier Conference teams, commissioner Kent Paulson announced Wednesday.
Head coach
Shelley Jarrard was also named as the Frontier Coach of the Year. In her first year at the helm of the program, Jarrard led the Griffins to a 22-8 record and a Frontier Conference regular season title with a 13-1 mark in league games.

Cydney Tibbitts and
Nicole Yazzie were each named first team all-conference as Westminster and Lewis-Clark State College each out three members on the first team.
Jenteal Jackson was named to the second team as the lone second team representative from Westminster.
Bates is a 5-9 senior from Warden, Wash. She ranks 12th in the Frontier in scoring at 11.3 points per game while also grabbing 6.4 rebounds pre night to place eighth in the league. Bates is shooting 49.5% from the field and 79.1% at the foul line. She scored in double figures during 19 games this season while also posting two double-doubles. This is her first all-conference award.
Tibbitts, a 6-1 junior, is from Pasco, Wash. After missing most of the first half of the year, Tibbitts came back to average 10.5 points and 7.2 rebounds in the 19 games she has played. She shoots 45.2% from the field and leads the Griffins with 16 blocked shots. Tibbitts had nine games in which she scored in double figures while also posting a team-best four double-doubles. This is her first year with the team and her first all-conference recognition.
Yazzie, a 5-7 junior from West Valley City, Utah, is no stranger to being named first team all-conference. During her three seasons at Westminster, Yazzie is a three-time selection to the first team and was the Freshman of the Year in 2010. This season, Yazzie averages a team-best 13.2 points per game and ranks fifth in the league in that category. She ranks second nationally by shooting 92.2% at the foul line and 32nd in the NAIA with a 36.5% 3-point field goal percentage. Yazzie has reached double figures in 23 games this season, including the last 13.
Jackson made the second team after averaging 8.8 points and 4.0 assists per game this season. The 5-7 senior from Salt Lake City is third in the Frontier in assist average and 25th in the NAIA. Jackson has a 2.05 assist-to-turnover ratio that leads the Frontier and is 10th-best in the NAIA. Her 42.6% shooting from beyond the arc is fourth in the NAIA. Jackson led the team in assists on 2 occasions this year and nine times was the team's leader in steals. This is her first all-conference recognition.
