SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – The Westminster women's lacrosse team dropped a 15-10 decision to Utah in the third-place game at the 2011 WCLA Division II National Championships. With the loss Westminster finished the 2011 season with a fourth place finish at the tournament.

The Griffins complete the most successful season in school history with a 17-7 overall record. They won the RMWLL championship and were the No. 1 rated team for much of the year.

Lisa Webber and Lindsey Mark led the team with three goals apiece on Saturday against Utah. Dechie Sumampong, Elisabeth Anderson, Chelsea Farrell, and Sage Johnson also scored for the Griffins. Regan Lelli posted 18 saves in the Westminster cage.
