Westminster trailed by four with one minute remaining and would eventually get within 65-64 with seven seconds to play. After Northern split two free throws, Westminster trailed 66-64 with 5.7 seconds to play. Westminster hurried the ball into the front court and let Yazzie do her thing. The Frontier leader in threes made per game put in her final basket of the night as time expired for the Griffins victory.

Westminster finished the game 9-of-19 from beyond the arc and was able to come back from a 35-25 halftime deficit in part because of five triples in the second half. The Griffins grabbed 30 total rebounds, including nine on the offensive end while holding the Sky Lights to just 27 boards.

Yazzie finished the game with 12 points while going 4-of-7 from beyond the arc. Dani Evans led all Griffins with 15 points and is now three points shy of becoming the fifth player in school history to reach the 1,000-point barrier. Samm Schermele scored 24 points to lead all scorers. The Frontier's leading scorer was 6-of-12 from the field with three treys and nine free throws. Laramie Schwenke added 16 points.
