SALT LAKE CITY – Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the 2009-2010 academic all-conference women's basketball team today. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and participate in one half of their team's games.
Carroll College leads the way with ten players selected followed by Lewis-Clark and Rocky Mountain with eight players each, Montana Western and Westminster College with six players each, Montana Tech with five, University of Great Falls with three and Montana State-Northern with three.

Keshia Catten,
Dani Evans,
McKenzie Jessop,
Lexi Philipps, and
Candace Smith were all named academic all-conference from the Westminster women's basketball team. This is the second time on the team for Catten, Evans, and Jessop. Westminster has now had 73 student-athletes named academic all-conference in the history of the program.
