The Westminster women's basketball heads to Montana for the final time of the regular season as they visit Rocky Mountain College and Carroll College this week. No. 11 Westminster battles Rocky on Thursday, February 18 at 6 p.m. in Billings. On Saturday, February 20 the trip concludes in Helena against Carroll beginning at 6 p.m.
The Griffins take a 21-5 overall record on the road with them. They also lead the Frontier Conference at 10-1 and hold a magic number of three to clinch a second consecutive regular season championship. This is the fourth consecutive 20-win season for head coach JD Gustin. They have won four consecutive games and 17 of the previous 18 contests.
Westminster leads the Frontier Conference and is second nationally by shooting 49.0% from the field. They shot 40.3% from beyond the arc to lead the NAIA and are fourth nationally by making 9.2 triples per night. The Griffins score 77.7 points per game while holding the opposition to just 62.7 points and 38.1% shooting.
McKenzie Jessop leads the team in scoring and rebounding entering the week. Jessop averages 13.3 points and 7.2 rebounds per game and ranks in the Frontier Conference top 10 in each category. Jessop set a school record with 10 steals last Thursday against Montana Western. She missed a triple-double in that game by one rebound after adding 22 points and nine boards.
Keshia Catten averages 12.8 points per game and her 41.9% shooting from distance is 14th nationally.
Nicole Yazzie shoots 40.2% from beyond the arc and is third on the team in scoring at 12.2 points per game.
Allie Eastman scores 11.6 points per game while
Dani Evans contributes 10 points per night to give the Griffins five double-figure scorers.

Frontier Conference Tournament Update
The Griffins currently lead the Frontier Conference and would be the No. 1 seed in the Frontier Conference Tournament. If the tournament started today, Westminster would host Montana Tech in the Behnken Field House on Wednesday, March 3.
