Tournament History
Westminster has fared quite well at the Frontier Conference Tournament under Coach Norman. Despite losing in the opening round the past two seasons, Westminster has twice won the tournament and advanced to the final another time. The Griffins won the title in both 2005 and 2006.

Approaching a Record
Sophomore middle blocker Stephanie Jones is currently hitting .280 this season. Should she stay at that mark, Jones would finish the year with the highest hitting efficiency in school history for a single season. Ananda Lopes is the current record holder at .278. Kyndall Kordakis has recorded 347 digs this season to set a school record for a freshman. Her 4.08 digs per set is the third highest total in school history for a single season.

700/700 Club
With seven kills at Mesa State on October 7, senior Ericka Evans became just the second member of the 700 Kills/700 Digs Club at Westminster. Evans is averaging 1.92 kills per set this season to go with her 2.87 digs per set average. She now has 765 kills and 803 digs in her career. Ali Culp is the only other Griffin to post 700 career kills and 700 career digs. Culp finished her career with 989 kills and 870 digs.

Reaching 100
Head coach Kim Norman notched her 100th career victory with the 3-0 win over Montana Western on September 16. Norman has recorded 106 career victories against 99 losses for a .517 win percentage in seven seasons on the Griffins bench. In conference play, Norman is 60-37 entering the week for a win percentage of .619.

Overtime Excellence
Westminster has played 11 sets that have gone past the set limit. The Griffins went 2-0 two weeks ago and are now 8-3 in sets that go into overtime. The highest score they have played this season was a 33-31 victory over No. 6 Biola in the first set of a September 4 match. Westminster dropped a 30-28 set to No. 16 College of Idaho in the first set of a match on August 27.

Looking Ahead
The field for the 2010 NAIA National Championships will be announced by 7 p.m. (MDT) on Sunday, November 14.
