Box Score GREAT FALLS, Mont. – On Saturday night the No. 5 Westminster men's basketball team claimed a 21st straight win over Great Falls, 80-52. Westminster (16-1, 2-0 Frontier) had three players score double figures and outrebounded the Argos 33-16 in the contest.
Nate Sanchez led the charge scoring 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting.
Geoff Payne and
Danny Stosich each scored 12 points and Payne led the team with five rebounds. Westminster forced 22 turnovers and had eight steals, led the
Jeramie Hopson's three.
Jake Harley connected on three attempts from beyond the arc to finish with nine points.
Rayshaun Ames led Great Falls (6-12, 0-2 Frontier ) with 24 points and seven rebounds. They shot 47.6 percent from the field and dished out 13 assists.
Westminster returns home to face Montana Tech on Thursday, January 15. That game begins at 7:30 p.m. in the Behnken Field House.
