Box Score DENVER, Colo. – Westminster improved to 4-0 on the season thanks to a 100-47 win over Johnson & Wales on Thursday night. For the second consecutive game Westminster had three players reach 20 points and they cruised to a victory.
Elisa Leader led all players with 23 points while
Keshia Catten and
Shannon Evans each scored 20. This also marks the second consecutive season that Westminster has opened the year with four wins.
The Griffins also got a boost from the bench. Freshman Jessica Huebner, from nearby Centennial, Colorado, scored a career high 16 points. All but two players scored for Westminster, as they controlled the game from the outset.
Next for Westminster is a Friday game against the College of Saint Mary. Tipoff from Denver is at 3:00 p.m.
