This will be Ashley's fourth year with the Griffins. In her first three years she was in the assistant coach role and helped facilitate some of Westminster's most successful seasons in program history..
Hailing from Draper, Utah, Ashley's lacrosse journey began in the third grade, setting the stage for a remarkable career both as a player and a coach.

As an alumna of Juan Diego Catholic High School, Ashley's passion for lacrosse continued to flourish. Her talents eventually led her to the NCAA Division III level at the State University of New York, College at Brockport. There, she showcased her versatility as both a midfielder and defender, leaving an indelible mark on the program all while earning a Bachelor's of Science degree in nursing.

Throughout her collegiate career, Ashley played an instrumental role in the consistent success of the Brockport women's lacrosse team. With her leadership and skill, the team secured a place among the top 20 in women's lacrosse NCAA Division III rankings for all four years. Notably, during her sophomore year, the team achieved a program-high ranking of number 9 in the nation, a testament to Ashley's dedication and talent on the field.

Ashley's collegiate accolades include being named SUNYAC Defender of the Week multiple times, earning recognition as Brockport Athlete of the Week, and receiving SUNYAC Second Team All-Conference honors. She also had the privilege of participating in three NCAA Division III National Championship Tournaments, reaching the Sweet 16 each time.

After New York Ashley moved back to Utah and began a career as a registered NICU nurse at Primary Children's Hospital in 2019. While keeping lacrosse in her life she transitioned into multiple coaching roles and continued to share her passion for the game with aspiring athletes. She coached competitive high school club lacrosse with Utah Mamaci and Tenacity Lacrosse programs from 2015 to 2025, where she also served as a Program Director for two years. Ashley stepped into a high school Head Coach role from 2019 to 2021 at her alma mater, Juan Diego Catholic High School, further honing her leadership and mentoring skills.

Ashley's commitment to coaching excellence extends beyond the local level. She had the honor of serving as Head Coach for the U17 Southwest Region at the Under Armour All America National Tournament in both 2021 and 2022, further solidifying her reputation as a respected and accomplished lacrosse coach.

She made her way to the collegiate level in the Fall of 2022 becoming the Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach at Westminster University. Earning a promotion to Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in the Summer of 2025.

As a coach she believes that sports have the power to shape not just athletes, but individuals. Her coaching philosophy is grounded in the idea that developing the whole person-emotionally, mentally, and physically- will help young women not only succeed on the field but also excel in life postgraduate.

"The lessons learned in sports - resilience, teamwork, discipline, and goal setting - are essential skills that transcend the playing field. I strive to create an environment where athletes feel seen, heard, and supported as they navigate the challenges of both sports and life. I'm committed to helping young women recognize their strengths, build confidence, and embrace their potential as leaders, not just in sports, but in their personal and professional lives. I focus on fostering a growth mindset, emphasizing that every setback is an opportunity to learn and grow. By cultivating this mentality, my athletes develop the tools to overcome obstacles, persevere in the face of adversity, and approach life with the same determination and focus they bring to their training. It's all about creating well rounded, resilient leaders who will make a positive impact in their communities and careers and ultimately shape the future." -Coach Tack
