Roya Tahmassebi enters her second season as a Volunteer Coach with the Westminster
University’s Women’s Lacrosse program. Prior to Westminster, Tahmassebi was the Head
Coach for the Brevard College Women’s Lacrosse program. Tahmassebi spent the 2021-2022
season as Assistant Coach for the Tornados before being elevated to Assistant Coach,
Offensive Coordinator/Recruiting Coordinator for the 2022-2023 season. Prior to Brevard,
Tahmassebi spent the 2020-21 season as Assistant Women’s Lacrosse Coach at CSU Pueblo.
A 2020 graduate of Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon, Tahmassebi was a first-team
All-Northwest Conference Women’s Lacrosse performer in 2018 and a second-team
All-Conference selection in 2019. A team captain in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons, she also
served as the Vice President of the Northwest Conference Student Athlete Advisory Committee
(SAAC) in 2019-20. Tahmassebi graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Anthropology in 2020 from Pacific University.
