"I am pleased to announce Dan Engle as our next men's golf coach at Westminster College," said Director of Athletics Shay Wyatt.  "Dan’s playing experience as a former NCAA I student-athlete, knowledge, mentorship from quality coaches and desire to positively teach students align well with Westminster and our men's golf program.  He's excited about the opportunity to work with our student-athletes to further progress their development.  Our department looks forward to supporting his efforts and progressing our men’s golf program."

Engle brings playing experience from the PAC 12 Conference where he was a member of the men’s golf teams at the University of Utah and Oregon State University.  He was recognized PAC-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention for three consecutive years.  Engle earned a bachelor's degree in Economics and minor in Sociology from the University of Utah.

“I’m both humbled and excited to join the Westminster Athletics Department as the new Head Men’s Golf Coach. Coach Hendrickson and Coach Mecham have provided me with a very talented group of young men to work with this year. I’m looking forward to being an instrumental part of each player’s development during their time at Westminster., said Engle.
