Biography
Coach Comments: Steven has been a great leader this fall. He is a player who makes all those around him play their best. A hard worker with good size, he'll help us provide an aggressive defensive effort this year.
Junior Year (2011): He played in 17 games as a defender … collected seven ground balls … had three assists.
Sophomore Year (2010): As a defender he played in 10 games … collected four ground balls.
Freshman Year (2009): As a defender he played in 19 games … collected 21 ground balls.
Before Westminster: He was a defenseman at Judge Memorial Catholic High School … was made captain his senior year … also played with Team Utah for one year.
Personal: Born on June 27, 1990 to Lane and Patrice Hirning … has two siblings, Andrew and Matthew … other high school sports included Cross Country during his freshman and sophomore years.
