Before Westminster: Davis spent one season at Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming, before serving an LDS mission in Korea. While at Northwest he averaged 8.9 points and 3.9 rebounds per game and started all 32 games. Davis prepped at Capital High School in Boise where he was named First Team All-State and led his team to the championship game as a senior.
