Biography
2011–12 (Freshman): Played in 21 games off the bench … averaged 1.8 points and 1.3 rebounds per game … shot 57.7 percent from the field … had six points and four rebounds against Northern New Mexico (11/4) … recorded four points and career high six boards and three blocks against Montana Western (2/2) … scored a career high 11 points on 4-of-4 shooting at Rocky Mountain (2/9) … had four points and four rebounds in conference tournament against Rocky Mountain (2/28).
Before Westminster: Hamilton prepped at Lone Peak High School in Alpine, Utah. The 6-foot-7 forward averaged 12.4 points per game during his senior season. Lone Peak won the 2011 Utah State 5A State Championship and finished the year with a 24-1 record. Hamilton scored in double figures 17 times as a senior and three times went for at least 20. He played in 36 games for Lone Peak in his career and averaged 10.9 points per game.
