Coach Comments: The mid career move from midfield to attack has put Gian in his element.  He is the fiercest competitor on the team and will put the ball in the back of the net a great deal this year. However, he still has learned a few new tricks and is also developing the ability to distribute the ball when the time is right. I expect he will be our best all-around attacker in 2012.

Junior Year (2011): He played in 12 games at attack … collected 29 ground balls … scored 38 goals … had 10 assists … was named RMLC First Team All-Conference Attack … MCLA Honorable Mention All-American Attack.

Sophomore Year (2010): He played in 13 games collected 10 ground balls … scored 10 goals … had eight assists named RMLC Third Team All-Conference Midfield.

Freshman Year (2009): He played in 17 games as a midfielder … collected 22 ground balls … scored 16 goals … had three assists.

Before Westminster: Played attack/midfield at a prep school in Lake Placid, N.Y. for three years … played midfield at Park City High School his senior year … four-year starter … attended Blue Chip 250 summer of 2008 in Fairfield Connecticut … played hockey and soccer all four years of high school in N.Y. … was named first team all-state and first team all-conference in Utah his senior year.
